If you’re promoting your blog on Pinterest, then you’re probably using Tailwind to help you out. And if you’re not, what are you doing??

All jokes aside – Tailwind is incredible and worth every penny. But there can be a learning curve the very first time you open it up and set up your queue.

I know I did quite a bit of research to learn what the best way was to build a Tailwind strategy that worked for me. Tailwind has many different features and I wanted to use all of them to their fullest potential. I kinda wish I had a shortcut to learn exactly what I needed to know for the tool.

And then I finally found the perfect resource for beginners: The Tailwind Course by Anastasia Blogger.

If you know you want to use Tailwind for your Pinterest account, you might want to consider this crash course to help you set up your Tailwind.

So what IS the Tailwind Course?

This course is a video course by Anastasia Blogger that teaches you the complete in’s and out’s of Tailwind and the best way to quickly schedule your pins.

Anastasia is a full-time blogger that teaches all thing blogging, Pinterest, SEO, and making money online!

Her course was featured in the Genius Bloggers Toolkit so I got a chance to check it out. I was super excited because she’s such a professional when it comes to blogging and Pinterest marketing, so I knew I wanted to learn from the best.

I was already using Tailwind for a while for myself & for my clients but I know there is always more to learn.

What’s in the course?

So here’s what’s covered in this video course:

Tailwind Tutorial – How to Schedule Efficiently

  • How To Schedule Your Own Pins With Board Lists
  • The Best Way to Schedule Other People’s Content Efficiently
  • Using Tailwind Analytics
  • Tailwind Tribes
  • Tailwind Smart Loop
  • BONUS: $30 credit to Tailwind (instead of the usual $15!)

It goes through each part of Tailwind and how you can set it up and use it effectively to grow your blog’s traffic. The $30 Tailwind credit is pretty awesome too because they usually only give you a $15 credit!

Who is this course for?

This course is for anyone who wants to use Pinterest and build a Tailwind strategy to increase their blog’s page views. It’s great for beginners or even those who just want to brush up on Tailwind and learn to schedule content even faster.

I love using Tailwind but scheduling out content was pretty time-consuming for me. The course had some really great nuggets of information even for me because I didn’t realize I could be updating my Tailwind strategy scheduling so much more quickly! It used to take me twice as long to fill my queue and well as my client’s queues, but now I can do it in half the time – saving me hours every week.

And of course, if you have no clue whatsoever about Tailwind, you will definitely learn EVERYTHING you need to know on how to use it correctly and effectively.

How much is it?

The course is pretty short & sweet. It’s got 7 video lessons filled with tons of information. And it relatively inexpensive.

Pros and Cons of the Tailwind Course

Let’s take a look at the pros and cons of the course!

So there are a few pros to this course.

First is the price: It’s relatively inexpensive compared to other courses on the market. So many courses out there retail for $97 and up, so seeing this price and seeing that it’s pretty affordable is a plus.

Video-based: I’m a visual learner so having a video-based course is a big one for me. I know many others out there that are the same way. If you need to be able to see everything and get walked through it step by step this way, having a video for each lesson is a big pro.

Short and simple: The course is super short and you could probably get through it in a day (honestly, you could probably even get through it in an hour!) I love that I was able to go through it in such a short time and implement the strategies. It’s very much like a mini-course. Everything is made super simple and Anastasia does not overcomplicate Tailwind at all!

There are not too many cons (if any) for this course. I really loved it and found it extremely beneficial. I can definitely see it helping beginners for sure. The only con I can really think of is maybe if you’re the type of person who likes text lessons to accompany videos, you might see that as a problem. The course is entirely made up of video lessons. Teaching Tailwind is a very hands-on, visual thing so I don’t think this would be a big problem for anyone.

Final Thoughts

All in all, I loved this course and I highly recommend it for those who are just getting started with Tailwind and want to create a good Tailwind strategy from the getgo.

With the course going for just under $70 and the bonus of a $30 Tailwind credit, it almost basically pays for itself. Anastasia is an excellent teacher and coach and I think the course is definitely worth it!
